Since the establishment of the Food Science department in 2005, the department has grown significantly, expanding its teaching capacity, research, and extension activities. Currently, Food Science & Quality Control is comprised of 37 lecturers of various professions, of which 16 associates are Ph.D. awarded ranking from Professor to the lecturer, 27 members are M.Sc. certified, and 8 alumni as laboratory assistance. There is a progressive educational program for undergraduates; our scientific goal is to make our curriculum comparable with the Food Science & Quality Control program of the most developed countries, in order to keep pace with the modern global progress. |
